The master bedroom is a very important room and the furniture that goes in there should be chosen by the two people who share that room. This is the room that they are going to spend half of their time away from work and other daily routines in. The furniture in that room should reflect a combination of the two people who share it.
Here is some of the different bedroom furniture that you need to consider when choosing bedroom furniture for the master bedroom
Bed–make sure that you choose a bed that is comfortable for both of you because at the end of the day, this is the piece of bedroom furniture that is going to help you relax. Make sure that it is cozy and inviting. Depending on the space you have in the master bedroom, you should opt for a queen or king size bed so both of you have room to move around and be comfortable in.
Night stands–most of the time when you purchase bedroom furniture, you choose a bedroom set, which comes with most of the furniture you need. In bedroom sets, you will usually get two night stands or side tables. Most of them have a drawer or two where you can put your wallet, change, glasses, book, etc. in when you are not using them. On the top you can put a small lamp to read by so you do not have to have the overhead light on, and your alarm clock.
Wardrobe–this is an optional piece of furniture because many homes have a big closet so you do not need the extra space to hang clothes. Many of them are also referred to as an armoire. Some just have space to hang clothes while others have drawers or shelves to put things like shoes, hats, and purses.
Dressers–this is an integral part of your bedroom and is usually included in bedroom furniture sets. Some even have an attached mirror. How many drawers they have will depend on the size and style of the dresser. Most of them will have six drawers in which you can store your folded clothes like underwear, night clothes, and others. On the top there is room to put a small lamp if you want, your jewelry box, a small box or plate for watches and change, and whatever else you want to put on top.
This is the basic bedroom furniture that you will need for your master bedroom.
